RPWB attorneys regularly hold leadership positions in class actions and other mass torts across the nation. We are currently serving leadership roles in both the 3M Combat Arms Earplugs MDL and the Aqueous Film-Forming Foams Product Liability MDL. The firm played a pivotal role in litigation associated with the failed VC Summer Nuclear Power Plant project. The resulting settlements provided billions in relief for South Carolina’s ratepayers and resolved some of the most complicated litigation in the state’s history.
Since 1976, RPWB attorneys have represented people diagnosed with mesothelioma in nearly every U.S. state and territory. We were among the first attorneys in the nation to win a mesothelioma lawsuit against asbestos manufacturers.
The firm’s usefulness even extends across international borders. RPWB attorneys serve as foreign legal consultants for six Canadian provinces seeking to recoup public money spent on smoking-related illnesses, and recently resolved litigation associated with an Egyptian dive boat fire that claimed the life of an American tourist.
While RPWB takes heart in providing widespread relief to people who have been wronged, the firm remains deeply rooted in our work to help individuals at the time they need it the most.
RPWB represents clients in many types of cases, including wrongful death and personal injury, truck accidents, railroad accidents, construction defects, medical malpractice, occupational lung disease, whistleblower & qui tam, nursing home abuse, and pharmaceutical drug and medical device injury.
