Zantac Cancer Lawsuit
Zantac Cancer Lawsuits
RPWB attorneys are investigating cases for people who took the popular heartburn drug Zantac and developed certain types of cancer, including stomach, bladder, colon, pancreatic and prostate cancer.
On April 1, 2020, the FDA ordered that Zantac be pulled from the shelves and no longer be taken by consumers. The FDA found that an ingredient in the drug, ranitidine, breaks down over time into a contaminant known as N-Nitrosodimethylamine, or NDMA, which is known to cause cancer.
Consumers who took Zantac should consult with their doctor to find an alternative medication that does not contain ranitidine. Many drug stores and pharmacies have not sold Zantac since September 2019 when the FDA issued a warning about the safety of Zantac.
Who might be qualified to file a Zantac lawsuit
We are interested in speaking to people who were regular users of Zantac (by prescription and/or over-the-counter) for at least a year before developing:
- stomach cancer
- bladder cancer
- liver cancer
- lung cancer
- esophageal cancer
- colorectal/intestinal cancer
- pancreatic cancer
- prostate cancer
If you or a loved one used Zantac and developed one of the cancers listed above, please call us at 1-888-858-9085 or contact us using the form on this page.
