Brady R. Thomas Of Counsel

Brady Thomas’ practice focuses on helping people. He regularly represents families and victims in catastrophic personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases, burn injury cases, and products liability cases.

Brady has represented victims in over 60 exploding gas can cases in many states across the country and his work in those matters led to the industry adding flame arrestors to all new plastic gas cans in 2017.

Brady brings medical malpractice cases in South Carolina and Georgia. He has helped victims of misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, surgical error, retained objects, and failure to supervise fall cases.

Brady has also prosecuted class actions on behalf of consumers. Brady was lead trial counsel in a closing fee group action that led to a $4mm judgment on behalf of car buyers. Brady argued against an appeal of the verdict and prevailed in the South Carolina Supreme Court.

Brady also represents victims in auto crashworthiness cases including roof crush cases, tire defect cases, and fuel fed fire litigation.

Brady grew up in Evans, Georgia and attended the Florida State University where he ran cross country and track. Brady graduated in the top 10% of his class from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014-2018, and was first named as a Super Lawyers Top-Rated Attorney in 2019 for his work on products liability.

Brady, his wife (Brooke), and children (Ansley and Ryan) attend St. John Neumann Catholic Church in northeast Columbia. In his spare time, Brady enjoys running with his dogs and following Florida State University athletics.
