Pharmaceutical Drugs and Medical Devices
Nothing is more important than your and your loved ones' health
There is nothing more important than your health. If you have been the victim of wrongful or improper practices by drug manufacturers and the makers of medical devices, you deserve to be fully compensated for all of your losses. RPWB is nationally recognized for representing individuals who have been harmed by side effects from both prescription and non-prescription drugs and medical devices.
RPWB pharmaceutical drug and medical devices attorneys currently serve or have served on various National Plaintiffs’ Steering committees for consolidated litigations involving the following pharmaceutical drugs:
- Ortho Evra®
- Phenylpropanolamine (PPA)
RPWB is currently involved in litigating Accutane®, Chantix®, Heparin®, Lipitor®, Trasylol®, and YAZ®/Yazmin®/Ocella® cases across the country. The firm also represents those who were harmed by Naturalyte® and GranuFlo®, two products used during dialysis to treat chronic renal (kidney) failure.
RPWB played an integral role in litigating and negotiating a $700 million settlement with Eli Lilly in 2005 arising out of thousands of Zyprexa-related injuries. In addition, the firm represented multiple states, through their respective attorneys general, for the reimbursement of Medicaid and Medicare funds used to treat the victims of Zyprexa-related injuries.
RPWB attorneys represent patients with defective medical implants. Some of the implant claims that RPWB attorneys are currently involved in include hip implants and defective trans vaginal mesh. RPWB is prosecuting hip implant claims involving the DePuy ASR, DePuy Pinnacle, Stryker Rejuvenate & ABG II, Biomet MZA Magnum, Zimmer Durom, and Wright Conserve products. RPWB is also prosecuting trans vaginal mesh claims involving mesh manufactured by Boston Scientific, Ethicon, American Medical Systems, C.R. Bard, Inc., and Coloplast Corporation.
In addition, RPWB attorneys have been involved in national multidistrict litigations (MDLs) involving devices such as breast, hip, and jaw implants and have served on the plaintiffs’ steering committee for a consolidated action involving the Norplant contraceptive system.
