Catherine H. (Katie) McElveen co-authored an article for the Fall issue of
Justice Bulletin, a magazine published by the South Carolina Association for Justice.
The article entitled,
"How Recordation of Independent Mental Examinations Can Ensure Impartiality in the Examination Room Interview" assesses the presence of a third party representative and the use of audio or video recording devices to ensure impartiality of expert witnesses during Rule 35 Examinations.
In addition to being a practicing trial lawyer, Mr. Ward is the firm's Business Manager. He practices in the areas of wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury, class actions, mass torts and complex commercial litigation. Katie McElveen is an associate with the firm and practices in the areas of complex and class action litigation.
