(Mt. Pleasant, SC)…..Richardson Patrick Westbrook & Brickman (RPWB) attorney Tom Gressette co-authored the article "Defamation in South Carolina - A Primer on Damages and Defenses." The article is published in the September issue of the South Carolina Bar publication,
South Carolina Lawyer and is featured on the magazine's cover. Mr. Gressette wrote the article with J. Patrick Norris, a former law clerk at RPWB and a May 2009 graduate of the Charleston School of Law.
Mr. Gressette practices in the areas of Natural Resource Damages, Toxic Torts, and White Collar Criminal Defense. He has served as President of the Federal Bar Association's South Carolina Chapter and is currently the Fourth Circuit Vice President of the national organization. He is a member of the South Carolina and United States Virgin Islands Bars and is also admitted to practice before the Untied States Supreme and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals of the Fourth Circuit.
