Butler to Speak at 2009 South Carolina Bar Convention

Charleston, S.C. — Richardson, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman (RPWB) attorney J. David Butler has been selected to speak at the 2009 South Carolina Bar Convention scheduled for January 22–25 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Mr. Butler will speak on the topic: Plaintiffs' Perspective: Lessons Learned from the Graniteville Derailment Litigation. His presentation will be the morning of Friday, January 23. Mr. Butler is a partner in RPWB’s Barnwell office and specializes in railroad accident litigation. He also practices in the areas of asbestos, class actions, and products liability.
